Hey! I'm Loveleah A. Uli
20 years old
a blessed loving lady! who loves my mighty saviour~ Jesus Christ!. i love God above all else! i love my FAMILY && i value my FRIENDS a lot! ♥
kinda~ childish.annoying.noisy but i'm pretty cool to be with. I'm friendly and i love making friends ^___*
I am beautiful, fearfully and wonderfully made! I Know who am i in Christ and settle for nothing less than His best.
To be nobody but yourself in a world which is doing its best, night and day, to make you everybody else means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight; and never stop fighting. √v^√v^√♥
I was in the fitting rooms the other day trying on outfits when I overheard a girl saying she wished she had a certain body part. Part of me wanted to cry out to her and say you are beautiful as you are [looking back I wish I would have]. The other part of me began praying for her. This is one of the many reasons I [Kymberly] started be.loved. We have all been created lovely. Perfectly in fact. Not because of what our bodies looks like. But because we were created in the image of God.
I believe God created a desire within each and everyone of us to desire greatness, beauty, and perfection. But those desires were created to be satisfied by Christ alone. He is the ONLY perfect, flawless, sinless man. Have you ever noticed that you are drawn to beautiful things, and successful people- not necessarily those with money but people who make a difference? The desire itself is pure, the problem occurs when we have not encountered God, that is when we can find ourselves being tossed to and fro by the ways of the world trying to obtain this perfection, this beauty, this greatness that we so desire. In all our searching we will discover that we can never measure up to the standards we have created to obtain this beauty, this greatness, this perfection. This leads us down the road of feeling worthless, inadequate, and ashamed because we do not understand what is “wrong with us”.
In our feelings of inadequency, we search desperately for something that can help us obtain this desire. Someone, somewhere has to know what it takes. We are driven to find this perfection. This is where the world has sold us a lie that we have boughten into hook, line, and sinker. We have invested our time, our money, and our dreams into that lie. The lie revolves around there being certain types of beauty. One or two “successful” ways to appear to man. But we are not the ones who define beauty [though the world tries to tell us we have that authority]. That role belongs to God. God in his infinite power does not view life or beauty like we do. Have you noticed all the types of flowers he created? They are all beautiful in there own way. How silly would it be for a daisy to have rose petals? It is the same way with us desiring to have something that another person has. Not only with there physical body but in career, in relationship, and in love. What works for one woman will not work for you. Take me and my best friend for example. She is a puerto rican with curves, even if me and her were the same jean size our bodies would NEVER look the same. And you know what? That is BEAUTIFUL!
So the next time you find yourself searching for greatness, for perfection, for beauty look at the man Jesus. Flawless in all His ways, perfectly humble, his faithfulness lead Him to the cross for you.
Beauty is not a size, nor a hair color. God never designed it that way. God designed beauty to radiate from within. God is beauty. Everything he touches is beautiful. With that said might I remind you HE formed you, in HIS image.YOU lovely woman are beautiful. Forget for a moment the jean size you are, forget for a moment whether you would be embarrassed or okay with someone taking a picture of you right now and remember Jesus. He is the perfect description of beauty. Beauty is not found in the physical appearance which will one day pass away. What we invest in here on earth will show when we stand before God on that judgement day. I for one do not want God to show me that I invested most of my time on worldly things that do not transfer over into the next age. But rather that I fulfilled that desire deep within me to know, feel, and experience greatness in Jesus Christ by searching out the scriptures, by walking out my salvation in fear and trembling, and by serving those around me in whatever way possible to see them experience God in all his glory on this side of time.
“Do not let your adorning be external—the braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear— but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God’s sight is very precious.”
Women, I want to talk to you about fairytales. Most of us grew up watching them. We saw princesses being saved from the bad villain by a chiseled, “modelesque prince” who always persevered.
Then we grew up and realized that disney movies may not actually represent reality and the men in our lives don’t always look like a prince. Yet, deep down in our hearts we still long to be saved. And those movies feed that desire. However, what our eyes were feasting on was the wrong answer. The desire is legitimate, but the answer has always been and will ALWAYS be JESUS. He is the one that ultimately saves us from hell.
Too often we give into the fairytale dream thinking that it is reality. We hope that “Mr. right” will walk up to us wearing the latest and trendiest clothing, saying all the right things, thinking we are perfect, never complaining, having a 6 digit paycheck and a huge 5 carat ring in storage just waiting for us. This, ladies and gentlemen, is not reality. No matter who you are–we are all sinners, we are all human. Our breath stinks, we don’t always feel like dressing up, we snap at people. But are these inadequacies viable terms for writing someone off as “the one”? It better not be. Otherwise we will probably find ourselves still single ten years later, claiming that “the one” still hasn’t come. News flash: “the one” is a distant fairytale.
We paint a fairytale in our heads of how the future will look. Sometimes we make lists of “requirements,” and sometimes we don’t let anyone past our walls until they meet those requirements (unless this is God inspired, I don’t suggest lists and especially not walls). God knows who and what we need. Many times it doesn’t add up to what we imagined, and sometimes it is exactly what we imagined. Either way, God is the one that qualifies them.
Real love is beyond a fairytale: real love is sacrificial, it does not boast, it suffers long, it is patient, and it is kind. Real love hurts: when the one you love is hurting, you hurt with them. Real love does not give up when times get hard. Real love perseveres through the lonely moments, through the times of being rejected. Real love chooses to believe and is only possible through Jesus Christ.
Love needs to have its perfect work in us. Forming us into laid down lovers. Choosing to die to self for the sake of lifting up the other to be all that God created them to be.
Love must purify our desires. We must allow God’s refining fire to have its way in our heart. Exposing our sin so that we may lay it at the cross and choose the better.
We must choose to surrender our dreams for His. Now that doesn’t mean our dreams are wrong, but they may not be God’s best for us. I don’t know about you but I want God’s best for my life. I want the full expression of God’s love for me. And I also know that in my almost 26 years of living I have NO IDEA what that means. Somehow in our lives we think we know things. But then I take a moment and reflect on how God is eternity, and me in my puny 26 years really doesn’t know all that much. The more I think about it, the more I realize my desperate need to cling to God. Because He truly does know what’s best for me. He knows the beginning from the end. He wrote my story. He desires life for me.
So next time your “fairytale” interrupts the possibility of getting to know someone, let LOVE interrupt that so called fairytale. You’ve already got a savior. A perfect one at that. Your future husband was never intended to be your savior. He would never, and could never live up to that. Let the Holy Spirit speak to you about what makes a real man of God. Let God lead your desires–not disney.
Me: there’s this guy… God: be patient. Me: but he is really really great… God: be patient
God has always been teaching us to to be patient. We may meet along the way a man we thought that is really for us but God knows what’s best for us and who he designed to be with us. Let us be patient!… It is always worth the wait. Just continue serving the Lord while waiting. Keep on praying for that lifetime partner and God will find it’s way that you’ll get to him. Be patient! :) <3
“Within this Christian vision for marriage, here’s what it means to fall in love. It is to look at another person and get a glimpse of the person God is creating, and to say, “I see who God is making you, and it excites me! I want to be part of that. I want to partner with you and God in the journey you are taking to his throne. And when we get there, I will look at your magnificence and say, ‘I always knew you could be like this. I got glimpses of it on earth, but now look at you!’”— The Purpose of Marriage
May the Lord give you the man with these qualities: (1) Someone who fears the Lord, (2) Someone who love the Lord, (3) Someone who serves the Lord, and (4) Someone who will be faithful to the Lord. Such qualities will give you certainty and assurance for bright future. God bless you, my dear Sister!
you have made me believe again that it’s true.. i end up loving you but here we go again.. i’ll be seeing your sweet moment picture together. I really don’t know how to react on this situation. just yesterday you told me that you love me~ i hate myself for believing that LIE again. I hate the fact that your sweetness is my weakest part. For now, i know tumblr will help me to express this emotion. :( Urrrrrg!
